Operation instruction
[ Measuring TDS ]
1) prepare the water sample in a container such as a paper cup
2) remove the probe cap,and press the button.the LCD will display”000”
3) dip the probe into sample.the meter body is partially water-resistant only and should stay dry
4) stir gently for 2-3 seconds.and then remove the meter from water toobtain TDS reading.the meter has an auto reading hold function to keep reading on LCD until next measurement or power is off
5) for a new measurement press button to clear reading.the LCDwill display”000”
6) after measurement,gently fling the meter 2-3 times to remove any residual water from the probe before putting the cup on.the meter automatically shuts off after approximately 30 seconds from power-on
7) to turn off the meter manually.press the button for approximately seconds.
[ Installing/changing battery ]
1) remove the battery cover
2) install new 3v CR2032 battery.and make sure the dattery is properly placed with the positive”+”side up
3) close the battery compartment.then press the button to check if the LCDlights up.if the LCD dose not light up,check if the battery is good or is properly placed,and then repeat above steps
4) change battery when the LCD become dim
[ Note ]
1) the meter is partially moisture-resistant only.please be careful during use and storage to avoidmaifunction or damage due to moistere
2) part of the meter such as LCD is fragile.please keep the meter from falling.being crushed or damaged
3) use a screwdriver to turn the calibration button clockwise or counterclockwise to sdjust the TDS reading.do not adjust the button unless a calibration is necessary
