We have a production base, which is located near celestite ore-mountain, specialized in smelting metal strontium and Al Sr alloy.
Strontium is a reactive metal purified from celestite ore, requiring advanced technology and a carefully controlled production process. Strontium can not be used as a structural metal on its own. Rather, it is used as a reagent or modifier in industrial applications. Strontium modified castings exhibit many advantages, including improved ductility, more uniform porosity, impact strength as well as improved machinability and electrical and thermal conductivity. Strontium has also been shown to distribute micro-shrinkage during solidification, thereby increasing cast soundness. As a result, strontium modified castings have expanded into a wide range of industries, including the automotive industry where manifolds, engine blocks, wheels and cylinder heads are manufactured from strontium modified aluminum castings.
Just recently, our manufacturer produced successfully high purity of metal strontium through technical improvement. It is the first and only manufacturer in China to produce such high purity and lower impurities of metal strontium. Please find their technical specification as follows:
